Job Description

Are you passionate about food service and interested in working in a hospital setting? Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as a Hospital Food Service Worker. This role involves providing essential support to our patients and staff by preparing and serving nutritious meals in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to dietary guidelines and restrictions
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of food items to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Deliver meal trays to patients' rooms and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain the highest level of sanitation and food safety
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with the food service team to ensure excellent service delivery

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service or a related field is preferred
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines and regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
