Responsibilities and Duties

As a Rapid Response Nurse in our ICU/IMC, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients
  • Responding rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions
  • Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
  • Monitoring vital signs and performing diagnostic tests
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications and Requirements

To join our team as a Rapid Response Nurse, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Maryland
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
