Responsibilities and Duties
As a Rapid Response Nurse in our ICU/IMC, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of critically ill patients
- Responding rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiating appropriate interventions
- Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians
- Monitoring vital signs and performing diagnostic tests
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
Qualifications and Requirements
To join our team as a Rapid Response Nurse, you must possess the following qualifications:
- Valid RN license in the state of Maryland
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care nursing
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
