Job Description

If you are passionate about providing excellent patient care and have a strong background in dialysis, then this Dialysis Technician PRN - Chronic Dialysis position at Bay Regional Medical Center in Silver City is a perfect fit for you.

As a Dialysis Technician PRN, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of dialysis treatments to patients with chronic kidney disease. You will work closely with a team of experienced healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable experience for patients during their dialysis sessions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up dialysis machines and equipment
  • Monitor patients during dialysis treatment and report any changes in their condition
  • Administer medications as directed by the healthcare team
  • Assist in the collection and analysis of patient data
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of a recognized dialysis technician training program
  • Current certification as a Dialysis Technician
  • Strong knowledge of dialysis procedures, equipment, and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
