A Progressive Care (PCU) Step Down unit provides a vital link between the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the general medical-surgical floors. Required Qualifications and Responsibilities

To be part of our FirstChoice team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Progressive Care (PCU) Step Down unit, we require:

  • Valid RN License: Candidates must possess an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the state.
  • Clinical Skills: Proficiency in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the PCU Step Down setting.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to promote teamwork and collaborate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
