Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)

Our NICU is a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology and staffed by a team of experienced healthcare professionals. We specialize in providing specialized care to critically ill newborns, including premature babies and infants with life-threatening conditions. Our NICU offers a nurturing environment with a strong focus on family-centered care.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform medical procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate parents on infant care and promote a supportive environment
  • Assess and document patient progress, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, following infection control protocols
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
  • Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Registered Nurse - NICU, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a NICU or related setting
  • Strong knowledge of neonatal care and evidence-based practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make critical decisions
  • Dedication to providing high-quality, compassionate care
  • Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning
