Role and Responsibilities

As a Food Service Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive nutritious and delicious meals during their stay at our medical center. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and serving meals according to dietary guidelines
  • Assisting with food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients
  • Ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to accommodate specific dietary needs and restrictions
  • Delivering meals to patient rooms and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in food service or a similar role is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects
  • High school diploma or equivalent
