Your Role as a Home Care RN

As a Full-Time or Part-Time Home Care RN at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to our patients. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Conducting initial assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and documenting vital signs
  • Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Providing wound care, including dressing changes and managing infections
  • Educating patients and their families on proper self-care techniques and medication management
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care

Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for a Full-Time or Part-Time Home Care RN position at Bay Regional Medical Center, the following qualifications and requirements are necessary:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
  • Previous experience in home care or a related healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and best practices
  • Excellent clinical and assessment skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
