Your Role as a Cardiac Rehab RN

As a Cardiac Rehab Registered Nurse (RN) at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in the recovery and rehabilitation process of our cardiac patients. Your expertise and compassion will contribute to their overall well-being.

Responsibilities of the Cardiac Rehab RN include:

  • Assessing and monitoring patients' vitals during exercise sessions
  • Developing individualized exercise plans and goals
  • Educating patients on heart disease prevention and healthy lifestyle choices
  • Providing emotional support and counseling
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Documenting patient progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participating in cardiac rehab research and staying updated on new therapies

Requirements for the Position

To be considered for the Cardiac Rehab RN position at Bay Regional Medical Center, the following qualifications are required:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Iowa
  • Strong clinical background in cardiac nursing
  • Experience in cardiac rehabilitation preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Passion for patient care and commitment to providing exceptional service
