At Bay Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed radiology team in Dubuque, Iowa. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients within the field of oncology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing accurate and precise radiation therapy treatments
  • Collaborating with physicians and other medical professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Monitoring patients' reactions and progress during treatments
  • Working alongside dosimetrists and physicists to ensure safe and effective radiation delivery
  • Maintaining detailed records and documentation
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
  • Excellent understanding of radiographic imaging and treatment planning
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize patient care
  • Proficiency in operating relevant medical equipment and technology
