Job Description

As a Medical Lab Scientist in our Generalist Core Lab, you will play a crucial role in performing diagnostic tests on various patient samples, including blood, urine, and body fluids. Your expertise will help facilitate accurate and timely diagnoses, aiding in the effective treatment of patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting laboratory tests and analyses, ensuring accuracy and precision
  • Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Analyzing test results, identifying abnormal findings, and reporting them to physicians
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to interpret test results and provide valuable insights
  • Ensuring compliance with laboratory regulations and safety protocols
  • Maintaining detailed records of tests and analysis performed

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified individual who meets the following requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
  • Valid certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
  • Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient care and maintaining confidentiality
