Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking for a challenging and fulfilling career in ambulatory surgery? Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a full-time Ambulatory Surgery RN to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in our state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities and Duties

As an Ambulatory Surgery RN at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Assessing patients' conditions and developing personalized care plans
  • Administering medications, anesthesia, and intravenous fluids as required
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or abnormalities
  • Assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during procedures
  • Providing education and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient care
  • Collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Ambulatory Surgery RN at Bay Regional Medical Center, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in ambulatory surgery or perioperative nursing
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
