Job Description
As a part-time server at Fraser Villa, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents. Your primary responsibility will involve taking and delivering food and beverage orders efficiently, ensuring accurate and prompt service. You will also assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents, offering assistance as needed
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver orders to the correct rooms or dining areas
- Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and presentable
- Assist with food preparation as directed
- Respond to resident inquiries and requests in a courteous manner
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, daily specials, and dietary restrictions
- Collaborate with kitchen and serving staff to provide excellent service
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
