About the Role

As an RN in the Operating Room at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting surgeons and other medical professionals during surgeries
  • Preparing the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Monitoring patients before, during, and after surgery
  • Administering medications and anesthesia as directed
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes


To be successful in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an operating room setting
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control, and patient safety
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
