Responsibilities

As a Biomedical Equipment Technician at Bay Regional, you will be responsible for:

  • Installing, maintaining, calibrating, and repairing a wide range of medical equipment
  • Performing routine inspections to identify and fix any equipment malfunctions or issues
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless functioning of medical devices
  • Keeping accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair activities
  • Adhering to industry regulations and safety protocols

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  1. Possess a degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
  2. Have at least 3 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
  3. Demonstrate strong technical skills in repairing and troubleshooting medical equipment
  4. Excellent knowledge of industry safety guidelines and regulations
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Detail-oriented with the ability to solve complex problems
