As an Environmental Services (EVS) Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sterile environment throughout our facility.

Responsibilities

As an EVS Technician at Bay Regional Medical Center, your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Adhering to proper cleaning and disinfection procedures in patient rooms, common areas, and operating rooms to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a hygienic environment.
  • Stocking Supplies: Ensuring an adequate supply of cleaning agents, linens, and other necessary items are readily available to support efficient operations.
  • Waste Management: Properly handling and disposing of medical waste, trash, and hazardous materials in accordance with safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other healthcare professionals to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine checks on cleaning equipment, reporting any malfunctions, and ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized.
