Responsibilities:

  • Answering incoming calls and transferring them to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Taking messages accurately and relaying them in a timely manner
  • Greeting and assisting visitors and patients who come to the facility
  • Providing general information and directions to callers
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the facility's services, departments, and staff members

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a telephone operator or in a similar role is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Familiarity with basic computer systems and telephone equipment
  • Availability to work on weekends
