Position: Host or Hostess

Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time/Pool-per diem

As a Host or Hostess at St. Francis Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our patients and guests. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Escorting patients and visitors to their respective dining areas.
  • Assisting with menu selection and answering any questions regarding dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Setting up dining areas and ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Taking food and beverage orders and delivering them in a timely manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and healthcare staff to ensure patient satisfaction.

Requirements

To qualify for the position of Host or Hostess at St. Francis Healthcare, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a customer service-oriented role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices.
