Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to patients, following specific dietary guidelines.
  • Monitor and record food and liquid intake of patients, documenting any necessary information.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and dining areas, ensuring proper sanitation and safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the dietary team to create menus that meet the nutritional requirements of patients.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, addressing any concerns or special requests regarding their meals.
  • Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a Dietary Aide or related role is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and nutritional guidelines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
