Key Responsibilities:

As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our Urgent Care facility, you will play a crucial role in providing primary and specialized care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Assessing and Diagnosing: Conduct initial patient evaluations, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed to accurately diagnose medical conditions.
  2. Treating and Managing: Develop and implement appropriate treatment plans for patients and manage their ongoing care, ensuring effective and timely interventions.
  3. Prescribing Medications: Prescribe medications and monitor the effectiveness of prescribed treatments to optimize patient outcomes.
  4. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate treatment plans.
  5. Education and Counseling: Educate patients and provide counseling on preventive measures, health promotion, and disease management.
  6. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, progress notes, and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Possess a Master's degree in Nursing or completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Certifications: Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and relevant state licensure.
  • Experience: Prior experience in Urgent Care or a similar clinical setting is preferred.
