The Role of an Impella Coordinator

As an Impella Coordinator at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a critical role in supporting the Protected Percutaneous Coronary Intervention team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating and managing Impella devices throughout the treatment process
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensuring patient safety and providing excellent care
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting outcomes
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the position of Impella Coordinator, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or other relevant healthcare licensure
  • Experience in a cardiac or interventional cardiology setting
  • Familiarity with Impella devices and procedures
  • Dedication to patient care and safety
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
