Role and Responsibilities

As an LPN Surgical Technologist, your role in the Operating Room is crucial to the success of surgical procedures. You will work alongside surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive safe and effective care. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Preparing the operating room by ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available
  • Assisting with patient positioning and prepping
  • Passing instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs
  • Assisting with post-operative care
  • Maintaining a clean and sterile environment

Qualifications

To qualify for the LPN Surgical Technologist position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current LPN license
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist
  • Experience working in an Operating Room setting
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
