The Role of a Pre/Post Endoscopy RN at St. Peter's Hospital

As a Pre/Post Endoscopy Registered Nurse at St. Peter's Hospital, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients before and after endoscopy procedures. Your primary duties will include:

  • Assessing patients' pre-operative conditions and preparing them for the procedure
  • Administering medications and ensuring patients' comfort and safety
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and response to the procedure
  • Assisting the healthcare team during endoscopy procedures
  • Providing education and post-procedure care instructions to patients and their families
