Role Description

As a Patient Care Technician at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in supporting our healthcare team and providing direct patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting nurses and doctors in performing routine medical procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting vital signs
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times
  • Responding to patient needs and providing compassionate care
  • Assisting with patient hygiene and mobility
  • Collecting and processing specimens for laboratory testing
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure efficient operations

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Successful completion of an accredited Patient Care Technician training program
  3. Current CPR certification
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  6. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  7. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
