Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Per Diem/PRN Float PP role at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all patients. This position requires flexibility, as you will have the opportunity to work across various nursing units within the center.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
  • Document patient information accurately and uphold the highest level of confidentiality
  • Monitor patient progress, identify any changes in condition, and provide appropriate interventions
  • Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing knowledge and skills

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules
