As an Operating Room RN - Service Line Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our OR service line.

Responsibilities

As an Operating Room RN - Service Line Coordinator, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient functioning of the OR service line. Your key responsibilities include:

1. Coordination and Collaboration

You will coordinate with the OR team, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and smooth workflow. Collaboration is key in the OR, and as a coordinator, you will facilitate effective communication and teamwork.

2. Staffing and Scheduling

In this role, you will be involved in staffing and scheduling activities of the OR service line. It will be your responsibility to ensure appropriate staffing levels, taking into account patient acuity, case complexity, and staff availability.

3. Quality Assurance

Quality assurance is of utmost importance in the OR. You will monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, adherence to protocols, and compliance with regulatory standards. Continuous improvement initiatives will also be a part of your role.

4. Training and Development

As a coordinator, you will contribute to the training and development of OR staff. This may include orientation programs, ongoing education, and competency assessments. Ensuring staff remain up-to-date with the latest practices and technologies is essential.
