About the Position

As a Registered Nurse - Operating Room, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our surgical patients. You will work alongside a team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch surgical care.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Preparing the operating room and assisting with surgical equipment setup
• Assisting surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
• Administering medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgical team
• Monitoring vital signs and ensuring patients are comfortable and well-supported
• Providing post-operative care and instructions to patients and their families

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions under pressure
