Job Description

As a PCU RN, Registered Nurse at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). You will be responsible for monitoring and managing patients' conditions, administering medications, coordinating with other healthcare professionals, and ensuring the overall well-being of patients under your care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and conditions
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Assessing and documenting patients' progress
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the PCU RN, Registered Nurse position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Valid RN license in the state of Michigan
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
