Responsibilities and Duties

As a Security Officer, your primary responsibility is to maintain a secure and orderly environment within the medical center premises. Your duties will include:

  • Monitoring and Surveillance: Using advanced security systems and technologies to monitor the premises and identify potential security risks.
  • Access Control: Managing access points, ensuring only authorized individuals enter designated areas.
  • Emergency Response: Responding promptly and effectively to security incidents, including medical emergencies, fire alarms, or unauthorized access attempts.
  • Patrols and Inspections: Conducting regular patrols to monitor for any signs of security breaches or safety hazards.
  • Policy Enforcement: Enforcing security policies and procedures to maintain compliance and safeguard the well-being of patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as facilities management and healthcare professionals, to coordinate security efforts and address any emergent situations.

Qualified Candidates

We are looking for dedicated professionals who possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience in a healthcare or similar setting.
  • Training/Certifications: Valid security certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, AED) and knowledge of emergency protocols.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and de-escalate tense situations effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong observation skills and attention to detail to identify any unusual activities or behaviors.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to stand, walk, and perform security-related duties for extended periods, as well as lift and carry heavy objects if necessary.
  • Reliability: Highly dependable and available to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
