Job Description

As a Registered Nurse - ENT at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our ENT patients. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of duties, including:

  • Collaborating with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized patient care plans
  • Assessing, evaluating, and monitoring patient conditions, vital signs, and overall progress
  • Administering medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed
  • Assisting in ENT procedures and surgeries, ensuring a sterile environment
  • Providing post-operative care and educating patients on at-home care instructions
  • Delivering compassionate patient-centered care, ensuring patient safety and comfort
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate medical records

Requirements

To qualify for the Registered Nurse - ENT position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Hold a valid nursing license in the state of Illinois
  • Possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical skills and knowledge in the field of ENT nursing
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
