Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse - Pediatrics, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for pediatric patients
  • Administering medications and treatments
  • Assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures
  • Monitoring patients' conditions and documenting their progress
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families

Requirements

To excel in this role, the following qualifications and skills are necessary:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maryland
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
  • Pediatric nursing experience
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric conditions, treatments, and medications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred
