As a Remote Referral Support Specialist at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in streamlining and managing the referral process for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all patient referrals are processed efficiently and accurately. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to facilitate seamless transitions between healthcare services.

Responsibilities:

As a Remote Referral Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing and managing patient referrals in a timely manner
  • Verifying insurance coverage and obtaining authorization for referrals
  • Coordinating communication between healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies
  • Reviewing and resolving any issues related to referrals, ensuring a smooth process
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and records of referrals
  • Providing exceptional customer service, answering inquiries and addressing concerns
