About the role

As an Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals, including cardiologists, nurses, and technicians, to provide exceptional care to patients.

Responsibilities of the role may include:

  • Assisting with invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Performing diagnostic tests such as echocardiograms and stress tests
  • Monitoring patients during procedures and ensuring their safety

  • Operating and maintaining specialized medical equipment

Requirements

To be considered for the Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist position, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist
  • Prior experience working in an invasive cardiovascular lab
  • Excellent knowledge of invasive cardiovascular procedures and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team and collaborate effectively
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Current CPR certification
