Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages in our Family Practice department.
  • Conduct patient assessments, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and evaluate patient responses.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Assist with procedures and examinations, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
  • Monitor patient progress and document all relevant information in electronic medical records.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on various health conditions, preventive care, and treatment options.
  • Ensure the adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest advancements in nursing practice.

Qualifications

To qualify for the Registered Nurse - RN Family Practice position, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Valid registered nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient or family practice setting.
  • Strong knowledge of primary care principles and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
