Role Overview

As a (REMOTE) Epic Application Coordinator specializing in Epic Beaker, you will play a pivotal role in the successful implementation, optimization, and maintenance of Epic Beaker modules at Bay Regional Medical Center. Your expertise will aid in improving laboratory workflows, enhancing electronic health record systems, and ensuring seamless integration across various departments. By overseeing configuration, testing, and training, you will contribute to the organization's overall operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

As an (REMOTE) Epic Application Coordinator - Epic Beaker, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze and understand end-users' requirements and translate them into technical specifications within Epic Beaker
  • Configuring and customizing Epic Beaker workflows to meet the specific needs of laboratory and healthcare professionals
  • Conducting thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure the successful implementation and integration of Epic Beaker
  • Providing training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to effectively utilize the Epic Beaker system
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and recommending enhancements to optimize workflows and maximize efficiency
  • Collaborating with other Application Coordinators and technical teams to resolve issues and address any product-related challenges

Requirements

In order to excel in the role of (REMOTE) Epic Application Coordinator - Epic Beaker, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in implementing, supporting, or managing Epic Beaker
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex workflows and translate them into system requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the Epic Beaker system
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot issues, resolve problems efficiently, and provide exceptional customer support
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to laboratory systems and healthcare technology
  • Epic Beaker certification or relevant Epic certification is highly preferred
  • A passion for continuously staying updated on the latest advancements in healthcare technology and industry trends
