As a Mercy ED Tech, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced medical professionals, supporting patient care in our Emergency Department during the hours of 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM. This role requires dedication and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Mercy ED Tech at Bay Regional Medical Center, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in patient triage and assessment
  • Monitoring vital signs and documenting patient status
  • Administering medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician
  • Performing basic laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
  • Ensuring a clean and organized environment in the emergency room
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements

At Bay Regional Medical Center, we value qualified candidates who possess the following:

  • A valid certification as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Flexibility to work during the specified hours of 11:00 AM to 3:00 AM
  • Experience in a similar role or healthcare setting (preferred)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and protocols
