Responsibilities of an RN in the Emergency Department

As an RN in our Emergency Department, your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate and efficient care to patients requiring immediate medical attention. You will assess patients, administer medications, perform emergency procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Valid Iowa RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting
  • Proficient in emergency medical protocols and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
  • Flexible availability to work mid-shift hours
