Responsibilities

  • Perform cardiac monitoring using advanced equipment and technology
  • Monitor and interpret patients' cardiac rhythms and identify any abnormalities
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide appropriate interventions when necessary
  • Ensure accurate documentation of cardiac activities and report any significant findings
  • Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified Cardiac Monitoring Technician program
  • Experience in operating cardiac monitoring equipment
  • Knowledge of cardiac rhythms and ability to interpret EKG readings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and handle stressful situations
