Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse Assistant Manager in Labor & Delivery

As the Registered Nurse Assistant Manager in Labor & Delivery, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to both mothers and newborns. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the department
  • Providing direct patient care and support to mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum
  • Supervising and mentoring the nursing staff
  • Ensuring compliance with all medical procedures and protocols
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assessing and documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate medical records
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate for the Registered Nurse Assistant Manager position in Labor & Delivery will possess the following qualifications:

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license and current BLS certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery
  • Prior leadership or management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures and best practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
