Responsibilities
As a Patient Care Tech, your responsibilities will vary depending on the unit you are assigned to. In our 3-East Adult, M/S Urology, and Peds department, you will provide compassionate care to patients of all ages, from adults to pediatrics. Your specific responsibilities include:
- Assisting in activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing patients
- Monitoring vital signs and reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff
- Assisting with basic medical procedures, including wound care and specimen collection
- Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals in developing and implementing patient care plans
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Qualifications
