Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team for a full-time evening position with 8-hour shifts. As a CNA at Bay Regional Medical Center, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients in their daily activities.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting patients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
  • Aiding in transferring and positioning patients
  • Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
  • Assisting with medication reminders
  • Supporting patients in their nutritional needs and meal preparation
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients

The position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with patients, their families, and the medical team on a daily basis. Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for success in this role.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for the CNA position, the following qualifications and requirements are necessary:

  • Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Training program
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to lift and move patients with proper body mechanics
  • Strong observational and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment

Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, but not required. We welcome both experienced CNAs and recent graduates to apply.
