Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care throughout the entire endoscopy procedure. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and comfort of our patients.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing patients for procedures, including obtaining medical history and documenting vital signs.
  • Assisting the healthcare team during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitoring patients' condition before, during, and after the procedure.
  • Administering medications as prescribed by the physician.
  • Providing patient education and post-procedure care instructions.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Registered Nurse - Endoscopy, you must meet the following qualifications:

Qualifications include:

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an endoscopy setting.
  • Strong knowledge of endoscopy procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
