Welcome to Bay Regional Medical Center's Family Medicine department in Fairless Hills! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our team on a full-time basis, working both during the day and evening shifts.

The Role of a Medical Receptionist

As a Medical Receptionist in our Family Medicine department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of our clinic's operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
  • Verifying insurance information and assisting with billing processes
  • Coordinating patient referrals to specialists as needed
  • Assisting physicians and nurses with administrative tasks

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems
