The Role of a Medical Receptionist

As a Medical Receptionist in our Family Medicine department, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of our clinic's operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
  • Managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining patient records
  • Verifying insurance information and assisting with billing processes
  • Coordinating patient referrals to specialists as needed
  • Assisting physicians and nurses with administrative tasks

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred
