Responsibilities

As a Medical Assistant at our Big Run Primary Care facility, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Taking vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
  • Assisting with patient examinations and procedures
  • Managing patient medical records and documentation
  • Performing basic laboratory tests and specimen collection
  • Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients

Qualifications

As an ideal candidate for this position, you should possess the following qualifications:

  1. Completion of a Medical Assistant program
  2. Certification as a Medical Assistant
  3. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  6. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
