Join our General Surgery Team

If you are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking for a fulfilling career in the General Surgery department, this opportunity is for you. As a member of our team, you will be an integral part of providing high-quality patient care and assisting in surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

As an RN or LPN in the General Surgery department, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and monitoring patients' conditions before, during, and after surgery
  • Preparing patients for surgery, including administering medications and ensuring their comfort
  • Assisting the surgical team during procedures, ensuring the proper equipment and supplies are available
  • Providing post-operative care and education to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of Idaho
  • Experience in a surgical or critical care setting is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
