Join Our Crime Victims Services Team

At Bay Regional Medical Center, we are seeking compassionate and experienced per diem, on call case workers to join our dedicated Crime Victims Services team. We understand the challenges victims of crimes face and are committed to providing them with the support and resources they need during their healing process.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a per diem, on call case worker in Crime Victims Services, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing crisis intervention and support services to individuals affected by crime
  • Conducting comprehensive needs assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Assisting victims with navigating legal and medical systems
  • Providing emotional support and advocating for clients' rights
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including law enforcement, legal representatives, and medical professionals
  • Offering information and referrals to additional community resources
  • Ensuring proper documentation and maintaining confidential records
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field
  • Prior experience working with victims of crime or trauma
  • Knowledge of legal and medical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability to provide on-call support
