Job Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Bay Regional Medical Center, your primary role will be to support licensed Physical Therapists in providing exceptional care to patients. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Assisting in the implementation of individualized treatment plans
  2. Monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment as necessary
  3. Providing hands-on interventions, exercises, and modalities to help patients regain function
  4. Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  5. Documenting patient progress, outcomes, and any changes in their condition
  6. Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients throughout therapy sessions

Requirements

To be considered for the Physical Therapy Assistant position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Graduate from an accredited physical therapy assistant program
  • Current knowledge of the best practices and techniques in physical therapy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the healthcare team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
