We are currently seeking a talented and passionate individual to fill the role of Art & Gallery Coordinator at Glacier Hills. Your Responsibilities

As the Art & Gallery Coordinator, you will be responsible for the overall management and curation of our extensive art collection. Your duties will include:

  • Developing and implementing an art acquisition strategy, ensuring the inclusion of diverse styles and mediums.
  • Collaborating with local artists and art galleries to support the local arts community.
  • Conducting regular assessments of the art collection and recommending additions or modifications.
  • Organizing and overseeing the installation of artwork in various areas of the facility.
  • Ensuring proper documentation and cataloging of artwork, maintaining accurate records of acquisitions and loans.
  • Collaborating with interior designers and architects to integrate art into the overall facility design plans.
  • Organizing art-related events and exhibitions to engage patients, visitors, and staff.

Requirements

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A strong background in art history or a related field, with a deep understanding and appreciation for various art forms.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills to coordinate the acquisition and installation processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with artists, designers, and the healthcare team.

  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetic sensibility to ensure the selection of visually appealing artwork.
  • Prior experience in art coordination, curation, or a similar role is preferred.
