As a Full-Time After Hours Hospice RN, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care, comfort, and support to patients and their families during difficult times. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patient needs, developing and implementing personalized care plans
  • Administering medication and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and well-being
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care
  • Establishing and maintaining effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Ensuring timely documentation and accurate patient records
  • Monitoring patient condition, identifying changes, and taking appropriate actions

Qualifications

To be considered for the position of Full-Time After Hours Hospice RN, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid RN license in the state of Michigan
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in hospice or palliative care
  • Demonstrate exceptional clinical knowledge and skills
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Show compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and families
  • Be capable of working independently and making critical decisions
  • Have a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
