Job Description
Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Customer Service Representative to join our Patient Financial Services (PFS) team. As a Customer Service Representative I - PFS Remote, you will play a vital role in assisting patients with their financial inquiries, insurance claims, and billing concerns. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while providing exceptional service to our valued patients.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from patients regarding billing and insurance inquiries.
- Assist patients in understanding their insurance coverage and benefits.
- Review and resolve patient billing issues and discrepancies.
- Update patient accounts with accurate information and maintain proper documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to ensure accurate claims processing.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or insurance-related setting.
