About the Patient Safety Attendant/Sitter Role

Are you passionate about patient safety? Do you have a strong sense of responsibility and a desire to make a difference in people's lives? Bay Regional Medical Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Patient Safety Attendant/Sitter in Silver Spring.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient safety and provide constant monitoring and support
  • Remain alert and vigilant at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
  • Respond to patient needs promptly and appropriately
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
  • Document patient observations and report any significant changes
  • Follow all hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
